Course holder:
Dr. Achille Farina

Achille Farina gained his degree in Dentistry  at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, the Diplôme d’Université d’Orthodontie et Orthopédie Dento et Maxillo-Faciale” at the l’Université de Bourgogne of Dijon (France), and the specialization in Orthodontics at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari (Italy).

Professor at Università degli Studi at Ferrara (Italy) for the year 2002-2003.

He has attended post-graduated courses in Lingual Orthodontics at the University of Cagliari (Italy), in Interceptive Treatment at the University of Pavia (Italy).

He attended the courses of Dr. Giuseppe Cozzani at the “Centro Studi e Ricerche di Ortodonzia” of La Spezia (Italy) that he completed in 1992.

He attended the advanced course of Edgewise Mechanics at the “Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research” of Tucson (Arizona, US) in 1991 and the advanced course about the Differential Straight-Arch at the “Kesling and Rocke Orthodontic Group” of  Westville (Indiana, US) and participated to several stages at the private practice of  Dr. Peter Kesling, inventor of the Tip-Edge attachment.

He has been for 10 years teaching at the “Centro Studi e Ricerche di Ortodonzia” of La Spezia, Italy  (1989/1999).

Dr. Farina was the first Italian dentist using the Invisalign system and he has been Invisalign Clinical Speaker from 2003 to 2007 and Invisalign European Platinum Doctor from 2005 to 2009.

He lectured at the 1st , 2nd and 3rd Invisalign European Meeting in 2005 (Malta), in 2006 (Marbella, Spain) and in 2007 (Cannes, France) and participated at the Invisalign Summit of Las Vegas in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007.

From 2003 he hold more than 90 lectures about orthodontic treatment with invisible aligners.

Author of several scientific publication he holds his private practice in Brescia, Italy.
